As I was stumbling through the dark eerie rain forest, I heard a timid but indistinguishable snarl of a gorilla. The first thing that I could think to do is run. My shirt sticking to me as I was sweating from the humidity in the air, I felt the cold chill run up my spine, I ran. I got at least a half-mile away from the creature; but then ten feet in front of me was a tall eight foot tall standing almost like a human, its hunched back was intimidating. It started slowly limping towards me. I was frozen with fear. I was nose to nose with the creature, the glimpse of its yellow eyes mad me quiver with fear. One of my tightly wounded curls blew to the side of my face as the creature exhaled deeply. A single tear ran down the side of my face.
